Jaye also pulled out of the hug with a slight blush. He smiled as he listened to Cameron explain while still sounding flustered. As the Charmander smiled at him, his own smile widened into a grin. The shadows trailing them since they met seemed to melt away, showing renewed promise and potential. 'I could definitely use a close friend. Fate even chose one for me.'
As Cameron looked towards the plains they came from, Jaye glanced back that way too. The sunlight, too, held promise. 'Just because I didn't come here voluntarily doesn't mean I can't enjoy the adventure.' Again, he lent the Charmander his ear. Although it seemed impossible before, his grin broke even wider. He turned to look at Cameron. "Deal, little bro." A sight in the near distance caught his eye. "Is that the city?"

Cameron smiled at Jaye's words again, and nodded as he asked about the objects appearing on the horizon. "Yeah, that's right." he said. "That's the city where I was supposed to actually be going when...well, you know." Refusing to continue to be hampered by the thought of the Dimensional Guard being after him, he turned his thoughts to his knew companion. He knew he had to keep his promise. He wasn't going to constantly bring him down by focusing on the negatives. No...instead, he had to look ahead. "Alright, come on, bro, let's go!" he said, his cheerful tone from earlier returning, if not more energetic. He grabbed at Jaye's hand and tugged on it with great enthusiasm. Together with his new brother, he headed forward, without so much as stealing even a single glance back. He no longer had a reason to. All he had to do now was keep pressing forward into this new adventure...and this new, much brighter future that now called out to them. You can now create a thread in Visdumia
