Jet nodded. He knew Doug had the best point. Vito was easily, and quite obviously, the most suspicious here. "...M-maybe you'll be able to pick something up in your match tomorrow." he said thoughtfully. It was an optimistic view, and he knew that it was highly unlikely...but if they would get any clues, it would be in the middle of that battle. Vito was a cunning, intelligent individual. But it was far more difficult to conceal thoughts and true intentions from a mind reader. Of course, he had to remember that Doug was still fighting with mastering this ability of his...but it was worth a shot, right?
This whole ordeal was a nightmare on the brain. Was Vito working alone or with a group? Because the Weavile had the ability to clone himself, it would destroy the need to rely on a group, right? But then again, that would be the perfect guise under which he could hide the rest of his group. When Doug brought up Haru, Jet gave it some thought. There was one thing he knew for sure about Vito: he was certainly seeking payback against Haru. There was no doubt in his mind that Haru would end up in the middle of this, no matter what they did. But at least Haru would be aware of it.
Though to be honest, the thought of Haru finally getting what he deserved tempted him.
"...But would he even listen to us?" he finally said aloud. "I-I mean...look at us. We're the two people he hates the most in this world, outside of mortal enemies. Why would he even want to see us? Let alone hear out what we have to say.... I'm afraid that the only reason he'd let us in is to get a free punch or something to satisfy himself." Plus, Haru could handle himself well enough. In his mind, Haru had been defeated so quickly in his fight with Marduk simply because the Zangoose read him perfectly, and knew exactly what to do to win. Surely even Haru would know not to make the same mistakes again. "...I honestly think our time would be best put to figuring out more of the circumstances first, before anything else. It's normally not hard to guess the picture that a puzzle will make before it's put together. But this one...we've only got the corner pieces."
~~~~~
Damon didn't even seem to acknowledge the presence of the Blaziken. He was seated at a table, bladed arms folded, with one foot atop the other knee. He appeared to be thinking...mulling something over. Not too far off was the body of the Machamp that had "beaten" the two of them. It would take a bit to figure out that there was a small snore escaping him. Jarek was obviously already asleep. The snoring was oddly gentle coming from such a powerful behemoth. Damon continued sitting at the table, not looking up...even when Deb asked whether or not he needed another report.
Vito seemed oddly...enthusiastic today. he muttered in his head. Is it because he was so determined to beat him due to a grudge? Or was he just that determined for victory? Or is there something...more to be worked out from his performances today...? The Scyther finally looked up as Deb spoke up again. He unfolded his arms and stood up. "Ah, Deborah. Yes, please, a new report would be nice to hear. I'm assuming you actually have information I might find useful? You're generally good about not disturbing me otherwise."
"Not quite, Jet. We also have some major pieces. We know that Vito is after Haru. Even if that isn't his only goal, it's definitely a major one. If you would like, I would be willing to deal with Haru myself. After all, I'm pretty sure Haru want's a rematch with me as much as Vito wants a rematch with Haru."
Just then a thought occurred to Doug.
"What if Vito wasn't looking for a way to get the upper hand on me in the next match? I mean, I don't think he really needed that information to take me out, or that he would have even known something like that existed. He already has a lot of advantages. What if he really just wants to know what advantage I had over Haru? To know some of the details of our match so he could use it against Haru later?" While not directly important, this lead to the possibility that Vito wasn't here for anything other than Haru. If this was true, then Vito was really going to great lengths to get back at someone. That definitely didn't sound like the kind of person you wanted to be on the wrong side of. The facts were, Doug was starting to feel more vulnerable than ever.
---------------------
That jerk. He knows he wants to hear from me either way. He also knows that I always find useful information. I sure don't make my money by being a layabout. Deborah silently fumed, deciding to be as indirect as possible as her own way of getting back at her employer. "Not much to report, really. However, I managed to catch the target attempting to assault someone close to one of the participants in the tournament. That Buizel that hangs around with the Abra. Apparently he was looking for information. He was a clone, and I can confirm he was unable to pass along anything he managed to find out, though I can't really tell you what that would have been. I very much doubt Vito was interested in the fact that those two are humans. Unfortunately, this kept me from being able to touch base with the Lucario to make sure my last operation was successful. Not that I need the confirmation. That Lucario is as aware of Vito as can be. It's almost like Vito is doing my job for me."
Finding information like this wasn't the only thing she was hired to do. She was also supposed to draw as much attention to Vito as possible. Apparently her client didn't trust that Vito would play his part in the heist as planned, and that he might betray them and attempt to take the stone for himself, and so the Scyther wanted to make sure he couldn't be as directly involved in stealing the wish stone as the Weavile may have been planning. To do this, he wanted to make sure people were suspicious of the Weavile so they would keep an eye on him, making him unable to make a move on the stone himself.
Or so she was told. She had her suspicions that this might not be exactly what was going on, but unless someone came along offering more than what the Scyther was giving her (which was highly unlikely, let's be honest) her job was to spy on Vito, not Damon.
Jet had already realized Vito's goal of getting back at Haru. But to him, that didn't sound llike it would be his only goal. "...I-if you want to talk to Haru, then I want to be there with you. I...I chickened out when it came to applying for this tournament...so I want to be as useful as I can." He was starting to feel bad about not competing in the tournament with Doug. He doubted he would have made the cut anyway, but...it was just the fact that he didn't even try that bothered him. He felt like he was leaving his friend to do so much, while he couldn't do a thing.
He listened to Doug talk about his theory that Vito only wanted to get back at Haru. He had to admit, it made perfect sense. But... "B-but something about that seems...wrong. If that was his only goal, I-I don't think he'd need to go to these lengths. I mean...he saw Haru get beaten by Marduk, so he knows one weakness...a-and he saw Haru get pushed to his limit against Deb. I'm certain that he's gotten a feel for Haru's battle style by now. If that's the case, then why would he want to go to such lengths to get answers from me? Holding me hostage in the middle of the festival was a huge risk...with little merit." He was fairly certain that Vito had ulterior motives here. He just had no idea what that was.
~~~~~
Damon frowned a bit at this new information. He knew that she was purposely dodging the heart of the matter. That attitude annoyed him, but she was useful, so he let it slide. "Oh, so that little Buizel got caught up in something, did he?" he said with a thoughtful look. "That's an awfully big risk he took. If even one person saw him, then it would put him on the spot. And they're humans, you say? Hm...well, that's certainly interesting. Perhaps we could use that in some way." This Clone thing was certainly odd. He had never heard of such an ability before Vito, and the Weavile was certainly quiet about the way it worked or the details. "...But what if Clones had another way to transmit information other than through physical contact? Then it would be possible for the Weavile to have obtained this information. Hmph, I need more information about this technique of his. I also need to know for certain what your target was hoping to accomplish by taking the Buizel hostage. Speculation is NOT good enough, as there's still a margin of doubt, and this is something we can't afford to screw up. And that Abra and Buizel...they should be investigated as well. And it would be nice to know the full extent of the relation between the target and the Lucario...if there's any more than we already know." He thought about this for a moment, trying to come up with anything else that they needed to figure out right away.
He simply shook his head. "...That'll do for now. Those are all important to know. However, your priority is, as always, to keep the pressure on Vito while investigating him at the same time." He was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the information he'd been given. But a few more questions had been raised by Vito's actions, and he needed them answered. "Keep up the good work. If you can find out everything I need, I just might be convinced that you've been helpful enough to warrant a bit of a...bonus."

"Look, we don't know much about Vito, Ok? We know that Haru is one... shucks maybe his only target, and one that he isn't likely to just let go of. Otherwise, we have diddly squat. That means Haru is our only lead and our best chance at figuring out what's going on. I'm going to talk to him as soon as I get out of this first aid tent, and that's that," Doug said sternly. After all, if Vito was targeting other people to attempt to get the upper hand on Haru, then Haru owed them whatever he knew about Vito, as far as Doug could tell. It was time to pay the piper.
At this point, a Chansey walked up to the bed, "Good news, you're being released. Now go back to your trailer and get some rest."
Doug shot back, "About time. Let's go Jet. We have things to do."
The Chansey was quick to retort, "Get some REST."
Fat chance. I've been resting all day thanks to this stupid first aid tent, Doug thought to himself as he made his way to the exit. And he was absolutely sure that one was his.
--------------------
Insulting. Waving his "bonus" around like I'm some cheap henchman. And this would be a heck of a lot easier if I knew exactly what he wanted to know, but of course, it can never be that easy, can it? Deb sighed as she made her way toward the exit of the tent. Tomorrow was another big day. More sneaking around, gathering info that wasn't quite what she was supposed to be looking for. This was another one of those jobs that seemed to go nowhere fast. But she had never failed a job yet, and she didn't plan to do it this time either. She left the tent without a word. Off to prepare herself for tomorrow. And to get out of here before Vito got his clones back out on the beat, not to mention that he would be coming to this tent for his own nightly meeting with Damon. So many unnecessary risks for such a simple job.
If she wasn't being paid handsomely for this, and if it didn't mean ruining her perfect record, she would be out of here in no time flat. Unfortunately she had been asked to accept the job with minimal information beforehand. One of these being the amount she would be paid, and the fact that she would be involved in stealing the Wish Stone. Between the pile of cash and the additional boost to her reputation for being a part of such a big heist, she had no choice but to accept. Little did she know the working conditions would be this unbearable and risky.

As Jet made his desires quite clear, he couldn't help but mentally flinch. It wasn't so much what Doug said or his tone...in fact, he wasn't quite sure what made him do it. It might be just because Doug had practically undermined everything he had just said. It was possible that he felt like an annoying fly that had simply been swatted away. Regardless, he obeyed Doug without question. When Doug shot back with such a sharp response to the Chansey, he couldn't help but look at him in surprise. Doug was always so calm and cool, no matter what. To hear him in an annoyed or frustrated tone caught him off guard.
Doug was already half-way out of the tent, while Jet hadn't taken a step. "W-wait up...!" Jet called after him, finally snapping out of his little trance. He scurried after Doug until he caught up with him. He guessed they were making a beeline for Haru's tent. There was one thing Jet was sure of at this point: This was not going to go very well.
As the two left, a pair of eyes followed them until they were out of the tent and out of sight. Marduk had a lot to think about while he was here...especially with everything he'd overheard just now.
~~~~~
Damon couldn't help but smirk to himself as Deb left. He'd gotten the last laugh there, it seemed. He knew throwing that little bonus out there would ruffle her feathers. Should he really be playing this game with her like this? Probably not. He had two other agents working closely with him at the moment: Jarek and Vito. Jarek was loyal and reliable...but his dim-wittedness was difficult to work around. And he simply flat-out didn't trust Vito in the slightest. Deborah was easily his best and most effective associate. Perhaps he should be focusing more on keeping her happy.
No, that's not necessary. He thought to himself. As long as I can offer her up as much money as she wants, I'll have her loyalty. The only real danger to this that he could see was if she told others that she was working for him for money, and that she'd be willing to change allegiences for a larger amount. But that would be foolish, as that would give her away as well.
Yes, he felt as though he was quite safe from her, and from anybody who would try to stop her. Yes...the only variables that had the potential of threatening him were the Lucario, the Abra and Vito. He knew Vito wouldn't be easy to figure out, but as for the others...all he had to do was see to it that they were eliminated from the tournament. While it may not resolve everything...it would certainly make it much more difficult for them to do anything. And from what he had seen of their performances so far...they weren't anything special. He could probably leave their elimination to Jarek, Deb and Vito if need-be. For now...he had to look forward to the next visitor he planned to have tonight....
A short while passed before Vito made his way into the tent. The real Vito. Damon made it clear he didn't want to be talking to a clone during these meetings. Vito had no reason to comply with any demands this Scyther made. Or at least no reasons that dictated that he must. But he did anyway. If for no other reason than this made their interactions smoother and easier when he did. They were only two people who had agreed to help each other achieve a goal. Each for their own reasons which didn't need to be discussed. This was the way it always seemed to be in dealings between two thieves. Or at least real dealings between real thieves. Whether it be out of fear or mutual respect of the others work, the rules seemed to be the same. Mind your own business and everything is going to work out just fine.
Of course, rules were made to be broken.
"Good evening Damon. How are things holding up on your end? I trust your match went as planned..." Vito asked. A very unofficial way to begin a very unofficial meeting.
Damon had already exhausted everything that he could think of that was important at the time. So, he decided to just spend a bit of time on more untrifling matters. He layed out a tournament match-up sheet he'd taken to using. He looked it over and discovered his next opponent. Well, he had already known who it was, but now he had some time to himself. He started formulating how he was going to handle this. If he allowed himself to be defeated by Marduk, then he was, without a doubt, going to be fighting that stupid Roselia, Tali. At least that way, he could knock out the annoying gnat right away. That would probably get him some bonus points with Vito. But then, he could end up fighting Doug or Ansgar, as they were the ones who would probably end up losing in their respective matches. Unless Vito would be willing to throw a match for one reason or another. If he went up against that Abra again, he could ensure his elimination. Doug would have already been defeated thrice by that time.
On the other hand, if he defeated Marduk, his path was unassured. He could go on to fight either that Poison Leader Jaer or Haru, that Lucario that Vito was so obsessed with. The thought of crushing that Lucario amused him. And as an added bonus...it would make things more difficult for Vito. It would require more cooperation between them. He could always use the excuse that he couldn't afford another loss so soon....
It was then that he was interrupted again. He looked over to see Vito standing there. "Heh. You sure like to be punctual, don't you?" he muttered. He put the rediculous thought of laboring to roll the tournament sheet up aside as he turned to face the Weavile. "Everything's going just fine. No big threats yet. Although a few variables have introduced themselves.... That Abra and that Haru that you're so obsessed with are the only ones I have no knowledge of. I'm assuming I can trust you to deal with Haru yourself. The Abra may pose to be a threat of some sort, however...I have absolutely no information on him, so he's a bit more difficult to predict.... I need to know if he's a threat to us so I can plan accordingly."
Yes, that would be a perfect response.... This way, if Vito said anything for certain about this Abra, it would feed into his much-needed information about the Weavile's Cloning ability....
Vito shook his head. "All I know for sure is that the Abra beat the Lucario in a match once. Odd, I know, but the Abra appears to be rather quick on his feet. I haven't been able to observe him very well myself, really. But from what I've seen, I shouldn't have much trouble taking him out. I'll be sure to let you know if I figure anything out during our fight, however.
"I'm actually disappointed, I was hoping you might have the tiniest bit of information on him that I might be able to use to help ensure victory. It would be nice to remove any unknowns at all." Vito sneered, an obvious insult to the Scythers apparent lack of information. The art of deflecting questions you didn't want to answer was one that came easily to the Weavile.
"In any case, what do you plan to do against Marduk? Are you planning to lose against him? Is that why you haven't asked about him yet?" Vito found it odd that Damon would be more worried about his next match when his previous one would likely be of much greater help to Damon. After all, he had to knock other people out of the tournament for his plan to work, surely. He couldn't honestly be planning on throwing his next match.
Damon heard what Vito had to say and frowned a bit to himself. Oh well. He supposed it was too much to expect to be able to trick Vito that easily. This didn't mean his theory was shot of course...it just meant that Vito was just careful about what he had to say...which was even more likely. "Ah, that's a shame." he said, making sure to choose his words carefully. "Well, do take him out as thoroughly as possible. I would even find it interesting if you were to...prolong his inevitable defeat. See if you can't drag it out in order to push him to his limit and possibly force him to reveal his hand, if he has one."
At Vito's next comment, he didn't react. He just kind of brushed it off. He'd come to expect just that kind of behavior from him. "Well unfortunately for me, I don't have any rivals with connections to him unlike a certain somebody. This is the first time I've ever seen or heard of him before. But from our match, I can tell that he's not much in terms of fighting prowess. But even the weakest of bodies can become the deadliest of enemies. I want to make sure he doesn't grow into a nuisance or stick his nose in where it doesn't belong."
And now, the final question. Ah, how he had been expecting this one. Throughout this entire short conversation, he had already been planning what to say at this critical juncture. "...Actually now that you mention it, I was debating on just that." He lifted one of his blade arms and gestured at the tournament layout. "I still haven't truly decided as to which I want.... Truthfully, I could work with either result. But, that leads me to a rather interesting question.... You know Haru's fighting style quite well, yes? And as a member of the League, I'm assuming that you know of Jaer's fighting abilities as well. Which one of the two do you think stands the greatest chance of winning? Your decision here might be enough to influence my decision on whether to win or lose." He sat back and awaited Vito's response. So far in this conversation, he hadn't had to put forth any effort into hiding anything. Hopefully, that's how this conversation would end as well.
This was a tricky question for Vito. He wanted the pleasure of beating Haru himself, of course, but he knew Jaer would likely have a trick up his sleeve, knowing full well that Vito himself had lost to Haru. The question was if it would be enough. "It depends on a couple things really. Things I can't ascertain at the moment, but if I had to bet, I would place my money on Haru." not because I think he's that good, but only because I would owe him the respect of acknowledging that he beat me where Jaer has not. That kind of respect has it's limits though. And Jaer isn't a pushover.
Vito knew this didn't offer much obscurity to what he honestly thought, but he didn't need to hide everything. If he wanted to, Vito could probably sway this match to go either way. He already knew how easily Haru had been messed up in his match against that Blaziken. If that chick were replaced by a hulking mass of Nidoking in that equation, Haru wouldn't have been so lucky as to pull off a win. It probably wouldn't have been hard to get inside Jaer's head either. But why not just let the chips fall on this one? Damon could figure this one out himself.
---------------------
Doug walked up to the trailer he believed was Haru's and gently knocked on the door. Time to make a good impression, Doug. It occurred to Doug that this would be the first time he had really tried to talk to Haru since their last match in Aina Forest. From what he could tell from just that fight, Haru probably wasn't going to want to listen... but that was okay. Doug had a few ideas that might make Haru a bit more likely to hear them out.
Damon listened carefully to what Vito had to say. The Weavile's opinion of the Lucario was of the utmost importance, after all. "So it could basically go either way, is what you're saying.... As it turns out, I believe he has more of an advantage here. If their battle abilities are roughly even, then even slight advantages could tip the battle in their favor. Haru is a Steel Pokemon, and would thus nullify roughly half of Jaer's moves. At the same time, he can't be poisoned. On the flip side...Jaer's Ground moves will deal some quite heavy damage.... However, I've been able to tell that he seems to use airborne attacks, so he'll probably be good at evading those. I suppose the one who I will place my bets on is the same as yours." He crossed his arms again, thinking. Now that he was making the assumption that Jaer was going to lose, he could make his decisions accordingly.
But that was to be decided later. "You've given me enough to think about. Thank you very much, Vito. However, I must ask you one more thing...." He looked up at Vito, blade arms crossing and blocking the lower half of his head from view, with his elbows on his knees. "...Is there anything else that I need to be told?" He had all the info he needed for now...but perhaps he could learn something new that might shed some light or help him somehow. To him, any information was useful. It just had to be put to the proper use...
~~~~~
Haru wasn't tired. It was getting late, and he knew he should get some rest for tomorrow's match. His thoughts went back to his Gym Battle against Jaer's partner. Back then, he was but an inexperienced Riolu, and he had gotten destroyed. Certainly not a good impression to be made on Jaer. However, this time, he felt more than ready. That wasn't the main thing on his mind, though. He had watched for himself the smackdown Vito had forced upon Marduk earlier. How had that Gym Leader gotten so powerful...? Did he even stand a chance against Vito at this point...?
Before he could continue, he heard a knock on his door. "Tch...who could that be?" he grumbled to himself. He got back to his feet and walked over toward the door. "I swear, if it's Vito again, I'm gonna-" But when he opened the door and saw two people standing outside. Before him stood an Abra he recognized only too well. Behind him was a Buizel, Jet, who was still following him around like the little sidekick he was.
Upon seeing the two at his door, he didn't even hesitate. He reached up to the door beside him and slammed it shut in their faces. Of course, he knew that wouldn't stop them from getting in if they really wanted to. After all, Abras could Teleport. As a result, slamming the door was a fruitless, pointless effort. So why did he bother? He got quite a bit of satisfaction slamming that door in that stupid Abra's face.
Jet looked on as the door slammed shut. He jumped a bit at the ferocity of the noise that echoed. "W-well, I think that went...better than expected." he muttered just loud enough for Doug to hear.

Why in the world does he keep pushing. It's like he's practically begging me to start digging into his information too. Vito was beginning to think it might not have been such a good idea to come along with these two and help them. The had heralded him as an old friend, leading him to believe these two had known him well. He had to figure out why, but was it really worth this? This was becoming a dangerous game, and he was sure these two already knew he didn't remember a thing about them, assuming they had met before this mess started. They were likely already taking advantage of the situation.
"That Zangoose. Keep in mind he has a similar fighting style to yourself in terms of the type of moves he uses. Whatever you decide to do, it's going to take some effort, like it or not." Vito finished as he turned to leave. The sooner he could get back to orchestrating his clones the better.
---------------------
Doug, without even asking if Jet wanted to come in with him, Teleported into the trailer.
"You aren't going to keep me out of here anyway, Haru. You may as well just hear me out now and get it over with quickly. Otherwise this is only going to be frustrating for all of us," Doug offered. He wasn't kidding either. He had a few ideas of ways to make Haru hear him out, some more extreme than others, but one way or another, he needed to have a chat with Haru.

Damon smirked a bit. He could tell that Vito was starting to become uncertain. It was satisfying, that was for sure. But perhaps he should pull it back a little. He still needed Vito's assistance, after all.
"Yes, so I noticed. I figured it wouldn't be an easy match. My wonder is if I should show my true strength if he forces it out of me, or just keep it hidden and let him win...." Now he was merely thinking aloud. As Vito got up to leave, he didn't stop him. "Very well, I suppose that's all I needed to hear." So, he hadn't gotten any parts of his memory back yet. Good. The longer things remained that way, the more smoothly this whole thing would go. "I'll see you tomorrow then...Vito."
~~~~~
Jet watched Doug Teleport away without even a second thought. It was like he didn't even want him to follow. Well...maybe it was for the best. He might just get in the way. He let out a bit of a sigh and sat down on the ground, back against the trailer. He sat there, looking at the ground, with just one thing on his mind....
Haru didn't answer. He looked on as Doug now stood in front of him. He stepped forward and reached out his arm. He tried to wrap his hand around that annoying Abra's neck and grip it nice and firmly. It's not like he was attempting to strangle him or anything.... He was just going to throw him out again. Assuming, of course, Doug would remain in his grip long enough to reach the door...or even get caught in the first place.
Doug took a couple steps back as he aimed his levitation attack at Haru, attempting to keep him just high enough that he wouldn't be able to make a grab for him, or go anywhere for that matter. "You aren't going to make this easy, are you? I'm perfectly fine with doing this the hard way if I must, but it has to be done."
Meanwhile, outside, a Vito clone was making his way around the trailer, trying to find a better spot to listen. He looked around the corner to find the Buizel sitting outside and quickly backed into hiding around the corner. He hoped he hadn't been seen. He didn't need to ruin his watch this early in the night. Not when he was stationed this close to two choice targets.
Haru felt himself lift off of the air, and he growled a bit. He should have figured Doug was going to try this. "And what the hell makes you think I'm going to listen to a word you have to say!?" He was irritated now. He brought his hands together and formed an Aura Sphere between them. He didn't care how badly he messed his little trailer up. He wasn't going to sit here like Doug's little ragdoll. Besides, it's not like there was really anything of value in here. At least, nothing to him. And so, without hesitating, he thrust his arms forward, hurling the Aura Sphere toward Doug as hard as he could.
Of course he held back on the power a bit. He didn't want to blow a hole in the wall of the trailer when Doug Teleported away, which he was almost guaranteed to do.
Jet sat there, unsure of what to do at this point. Should he follow Doug inside? No, that probably wasn't the best idea. Apparently, he'd just get in the way somehow. He couldn't help but wonder if that's how Doug really thought of him. Sure, they were friends and all, but....
It was then that a flash of motion caught his eye. He looked up in the direction the Weavile had jumped into hiding. Naturally, he didn't see anything there. Jet decided to shake it off for now. It was probably nothing.... It could have been one of the locals taking an evening stroll or something anyway.
Doug teleported back behind the Lucario, hopefully being saved from getting a face-full of of Aura Sphere in the next few seconds. "Because if you don't listen to me, I can assure you you aren't going to get a rematch. Even if we do meet up in this tournament or anywhere, I'll submit and ruin your chances of proving you might be able to beat me. Now if you'll calm down for a few minutes, we can get to solving what I'm sure is a mutual Weavile problem." Doug said sternly.
I'm starting to forget why I was doing this again... This guy is a brute... what am I honestly expecting to get out of this?
The clone couldn't help but snicker a little upon hearing the commotion inside the trailer. However, his enjoyment of the situation was cut short upon hearing a bang, like something had slammed against the inside of the trailer, right next to his head. He quickly jumped back, and began checking himself to make sure he was still all there. Thinking he might have been seen, he quickly put his back against the trailer again. Dang, I'm trapped. If I try to go anywhere I'll be seen, but if I stay here, who knows if something is gonna fire out of that trailer.
Haru figured the Abra would manage to Teleport away. The Aura Sphere slammed against the back wall...but thankfully, it didn't do any physical damage. There was a slight scorch mark where the ball of energy had collided with the wall, but nothing more. If he hadn't held back, he figured there'd be a giant hole in the wall at this point.
He glared over at Doug and was about to form another Aura Sphere in his paws...but then he heard what the Abra had to say. He scowled a bit. "And what makes you think I'll LET you submit? I don't care if you fight back or not, I'm not one to just let you get away with something like that..." He hadn't really paid attention to the last part of Doug's statement, but he had managed to catch the word "weavile" in there. He stopped his tirade and glared over at Doug. "...What about the Weavile?" he muttered. "Stop beating around the bush and spit it out." Well, at least he might be calming down now.
~~~~~
A loud BANG from within the trailer caused Jet to jump right out of his skin. He actually ended up falling forward in his surprise and he hit the ground on his stomach. He could swear he'd lost a bit of color there. He jumped back to his feet and looked back at the entrance. But before he could call out to see if Doug was alright, he saw it. Another quick flurry of motion that disappeared before he could get a clear view. Again? And right after that loud bang? Something wasn't right here. "I-Is someone there...?" he called out, his voice quivering a bit. He was still shaky from the jump scare of his life.

"He's coming after people. People other than yourself. We're pretty sure it's you he wants to fight, after all. But we can't really be sure because to heck if we ever know what you're up to. If he's bringing other people into this then we have a right to know about any exchanges you've had with him. I'm not gonna have Jet and goodness knows who else getting attacked and just sit on my hands. So for goodness sake, tell me what you know." Doug said, still fed up. This whole situation was wrong, and the fact that so many people were keeping to themselves about these things was making it worse.
---------
The clone continues to attempt to listen in on the conversation going on inside. He couldn't make out much. Maybe there was a window nearby? A vent perhaps?
Then he heard the Buizels question. Oh goodness. Next thing you know he's going to be coming to look for me. The clone decided he needed to move to the back of the trailer quickly, and began scooting around accordingly. When he turned the corner, he looked up to find a single vent popping out of the back of the Trailer. Perfect. Now as long as that Buizel didn't get it in his head to come looking for him, he could eavesdrop in peace.

Haru looked at Doug with a suspicious look. Could this be some kind of trick? But then, what exactly would Doug get out of this? And how could he have found out about his relationship with Vito in the first place? Tch...no, Doug certainly wasn't trying to trick him into something. He'd have done it in some other clever way. So then what did he...? "...Hmph. Well this may or may not come to a surprise to you, but I couldn't care less about Jet or anybody else. All I want is to be able to fight and beat that smug little punk for thinking he can mess with my head." He crossed his arms. He had absolutely no intention of letting Vito walk all over him like that...and he certainly had no reason to tell Doug anything...at least, so he thought.

Jet didn't get a response. Not that he had expected to. If this person really was just hanging around the trailer for some reason and didn't want to be seen...then he certainly wouldn't answer. He decided to call again. "H-hello...!?" He knew if there was somebody around here, then they wouldn't answer...so he decided that he should take a look...just to be on the safe side. He started making his way to the opposite side of the trailer, slowly and carefully. He needed to be ready for anything that might show itself. He peeked around the corner to the back of the trailer....

Doug knew this wasn't how he had planned things to go down. He had to be letting his emotions get the better of him... Er... whatever those emotions happened to be... Doug calmed himself down for a couple seconds and focused on what he was feeling.
Some kind of anger... directed at myself. Probably Haru. Frustration. Is that me? I figured I would be irritated, but I don't know why I would be overwhelmed. And then... the strong feeling that you're being followed. Jet maybe? It's awfully strong. Even for Jet. Somethings wrong here...
"Hold that thought." Doug said as he reached for Haru's arm and attempted to teleport both himself and Haru to the outside of the trailer. Once outside, he looked around, hoping to see Jet. Seeing no sign of him, he decided to take a look around the trailer. Opting to look on the side Haru hadn't fired an Aura Sphere at. After all, if Jet were running from something, he wouldn't have gone toward the bang.
"Wait here." He said to the Lucario without looking to see if he had made the jump. It was more of a courtesy though. Doug had gotten pretty good at maintaining levitation. Really, as long as he wasn't too far away, and he knew where his target was located, he could keep someone in midair for a good chunk of time. Without time for a second thought, he ducked around the corner. "Jet? Where did you go?" he called to the missing Buizel.
---------------------
Meanwhile, the clone was starting to realize that he was cornered. But then, a glimmer of hope! There was a small gap in the metal sheets that covered the space between the bottom of the trailer and the ground. If he could just squeeze through, he could hide there and make his escape later! So he threw himself into the gap as quickly as possible, making sure to suck in his gut, just in case. Now as long as they don't look under here, I'm golden.
