Somehow, I figured there would eventually be a conflict with these. So, I'll take the liberty of explaining them:
Burn
The affected Pokemon gains a weak point in the burned area, and so any hit there will be like a critical hit. (If your whole body is burned, then tough luck!) Also, the Pokemon's attack power will drop slightly. Health will not gradually decline like in the games unless the burn is exposed to unfavorable conditions, such as heat. Fire-types cannot be burned, and Water-types are more resistant to burn.
Poison
The affected Pokemon's health will gradually decline, and they will feel weaker. If it is just ordinary poison, however, the poison will also decline over time until it is cured. If the Pokemon is badly poisoned, via Toxic or etc, the poison will never heal by itself. Either cure the poison with an item/move or keep taking damage until you fall unconscious. Poison types cannot be poisoned. Steel types can be poisoned, but they are more resistant.
Paralysis
The affected Pokemon will move much more slowly, and at times they will be unable to move at all. Paralysis cannot be cured on its own; it must be cured with an item/move/ability or with a night's rest. Electric types can be paralyzed, even from Electric moves.
Freeze
The affected Pokemon is encased in ice, and cannot attack, move, or be attacked for a while. If the Pokemon uses or it hit with a Fire-type move, the ice will thaw instantly. Depending on the temperature of the environment, the ice will thaw more quickly or slowly. Ice-types can be frozen (in even colder ice) and Water-types are especially weak to it.
Sleep
The affected Pokemon falls into a deep sleep, even in the heat of battle. They will stay asleep for a while depending on the species of Pokemon. For example, Snorlax will stay asleep for a long time, but Mankey will wake up sooner (I'll let the mods be the judge). Being attacked increases the chance that the Pokemon will awaken. Items such as Chesto Berries cannot be used by a sleeping Pokemon, but another can use one on a sleeping Pokemon.
Confusion
The Pokemon becomes more or less dizzy, reducing accuracy to about half. A confused Pokemon cannot attack him/herself (that makes no sense) so they might attack an ally or an inanimate object. It wears off after a while.
Illusion
A condition unique to DN2. The affected Pokemon's perception is twisted, causing illusions of nearby Pokemon to appear in a different position, to switch places, and pretty much anything you could think of. Be creative. Any Psychic type move that causes confusion might instead cause illusion. Also, the Mr. Saturn Doll has a slight chance of causing illusion when thrown.
General Notes
As of now, members can be trusted to control their own status afflictions (whether it occurs from an attack, and the effects of it). All other Pokemon's afflictions are decided by the moderator.
