So I decided to be a good boy and do some chores today.
Turns out that chores don't always like being done.
My sweats somehow got lodged in between the washing machine's spinny thingy and the bottom of the washer barrel. Reeeeally tightly, too. And it didn't help that the thing spins, so it got all tangled and mangled. I had to break out all of my best pulling and yanking techniques just to get it loose, after working around the tangled puzzle, and I wore myself out doing it but I managed to get it more or less free. Then I learned that the string that you pull to tighten the sweats was the most likely culprit that dragged them into it in the first place, and it was so tangled in there that I just settled with scissors. So now I have sweats that are extremely stretched out and are still drying in the dryer. Now I have to wait for the darn thing to actually dry my clothes which always takes forever with our particular dryer and I don't want it to run overnight, so I'm basically forced to stay up later than I intended.
Meanwhile, the ants have taken over my kitchen counter for no apparent reason and I was too busy mutating my own pants to notice. Hooray for nature.
But yeah, here I am waiting for the dryer to dry and my sanity to recover posting here just to stall time because I have no idea what to do. Most likely-- *squashes an ant crawling on his computer* --tomorrow I will wake up, read this, and have a good laugh at myself for being such an unfortunate comic relief.
