((This is a continuation of this thread, starting with this post that is still in need of a reply.)) "Oh, sorry about the poking." Ichiro muttered, looking back at the Sentret. "It's just that the last time I saw you, you weren't you, and you were him and he was you and...whoa, why am I getting dizzy...?" He stumbled around for a moment before finally recovering...after he had finished talking. Ichiro was a bit annoyed that nobody had really listened to what he had said past 'Mamoswine', but he was too overjoyed at seeing his friend(s) again to really care. He just looked back and forth from Meowth-Senpai to Sentret and then back to Meowth again. As they continued to talk back and forth, Ichiro just kind of grew more and more annoyed that they were practically ignoring what he said. The Mamoswine seemed to be all they wanted to talk about for some reason he couldn't really comprehend. Oh well, not much he could do about it. Eventually, the Sentret took his leave, and Ichiro smiled after him and said, "Thank you, Mr. Sentret! Goodbye!" Then, he looked over at Meowth-Senpai. "Oh...okay then." Ichiro said. Well, he wasn't sure how late it was just yet.... So maybe he, too, should really think about getting to sleep. He walked around in circles for a moment before settling down by laying on the grass on his stomach. As he dozed off, memories of his first meeting with Meowth-Senpai returned to him. And one thing was brought to his mind. 'I wonder when I'll be able to beat Meowth-Senpai....' before he finally dozed off into the night.

The night passed by quietly - apparently the fates were satisfied that they'd done enough obstacles to the two Pokemon and allowed them to sleep peacefully.
**Ichiro's energy was fully restored!**
By the time the two woke up, the events of last night would have almost seemed to be a dream, if it weren't for the footprints in the ground to remind them that everything, indeed had happened.
Meowth-senpai was the one to wake up first, stretching himself after enjoying his catnap (*drumroll*), and looking around confused for a second. "Huh...? Where am...did I eat some kind of funky mushroom by mistake...? ...oh right, I chased Ichiro in here after that business with that Ditto." Meowth-senpai shook himself and looked around...and there was nothing but forest for miles.
"...how in the heck are we gonna get out?" Meowth-senpai looked around. "I knew we should have asked that Sentret while he was still here...was I that tired that I missed that opportunity?"
Meowth-senpai looked around. "...we are so thoroughly lost. Stupid Ditto. Now we've got to figure out how to get back to the road...I'd wonder if Ichiro has any ideas, but he's still aslep. Guess there's only one thing to do."
Meowth-senpai looked up, gulped slightly, closed his eyes tight, opened them, and then dashed up the tree surprisingly fast even for a Meowth. From the top of the tree hopefully he'd be able to see something...
Of course, at the top of the tree all he saw was more trees - at first. This might take a while longer than he would have liked, but Meowth-senpai was going to have none of this - there was foom and hopefully a WARM room to have. There'd be a hint somewhere if he could just see it...

It was several minutes after Meowth-senpai awoke that Ichiro did the same. But he wasn't as silent about it as the feline Pokemon was. He awoke with a loud yawn, and rubbed his eyes. He stood up on all fours and stretched a bit. Then, he reared up on his hind legs and looked around for Meowth-Senpai.... When he didn't see him, he looked around more. But just as he was about to call out the Meowth's name...he stepped on a large root on the ground and fell over backward. He fell hard onto his back with a loud crash.
"Owww...!" he cried out, rubbing his back as far as his stubby arms could reach. That fall had really hurt! But at least nothing was injured. Then again, he was so clueless about what pain really was, he probably wouldn't have known anyway. Regardless, he probably alerted Meowth-senpai's ears, which, as a cat's, were probably sensitive enough to have heard the waking yawn...let alone the crash that was his fall.

Meowth-senpai should probably have been less surprised then he was when he heard the commotion on the ground, but somehow he was slightly surprised that even Ichiro could be this much of a klutz - except, strangely, when he was fighting.
Why was it that the kid somehow was so strong when he was fighting, but always had a veneer of clumsiness outside of it? He could have been faking it, but somehow Meowth-senpai doubted it...
As Meowth was looking and checking, he did a double-take...was that a patch of road...?
Yes, it was! It looked to be some distance off, but hopefully it would only take a couple of hours walking in order to get there, and hopefully if there came another battle the Forest Guard would help them soon enough, so he doubted there'd be much problem with that.
With that thought and a smile on his face, Meowth turned around, looked down...and then remembered exactly why he hated being up here. He clung to the tree like, well, a desperately fearful cat. There wasn't much he could say, but he was shivering with fear. Would Ichiro even notice he as up there...?

When Meowth-senpai didn't speak to him, he looked around, wondering where the cat-like Pokemon could possibly be. He didn't...leave him here, did he? ...No, of course not! Meowth-senpai would never do that to him. If that were the type of Pokemon he was, he would not have gone through the trouble of tracking him down through the trees and gotten himself lost. Well, he was sure that Meowth-senpai was looking for a way back. That was just how great he was.... Always two steps ahead~
The Cyndaquil looked around and then thought, 'Okay...if I were Meowth-senpai, where would I be...?' His immediate thought was to the trees. That would be where one could get the best look of the surroundings.... But then he remembered. Meowth-senpai hated trees. He would never go up into the treetops again. So then he immediately dismissed the thought and possibility. 'Then again...' he thought, coming back to the possibility. Meowth-senpai is so cool...that he'd be willing to jump into the trees to find a way for them to get out of here...even if it meant facing his fear. It was then that he nodded. Meowth-senpai must be in the trees.
So, he looked to the sky, scanning the branches around him. "Meowth-senpai?" he called out. "Are you up there somewhere...?" You'd think it'd be easy finding a Pokemon that had white fur in such a background.

Ichiro's voice. Great. As if he couldn't be caught in a more embarrassing position then stuck halfway up the tree incredibly frightened. And somehow, he'd thought he done a good job of hiding it from Ichiro. Must have been mistaken.
Well, pride be damned. There was fear to be taking over Meowth.
"I haaaaate heiiiights~!" Meowth-senpai yelled down where quite a lot of the forest could probably hear him. This couldn't get more furiously embarrassing unless Ichiro somehow set the tree on fire.
Meowth-senpai did not completely ignore the possibility. "Get me dooooownnn~!" he caterwauled (*drumroll*) and clenched himself to the branches as if it was all between him and the Glitch Void, and he didn't look like he was letting go any time soon. Hopefully Ichiro would come up with a plan - before somebody else noticed.

Ichiro suddenly heard a loud yell that could very easily be identified as Meowth-senpai's. Following the Meowth's loud yell, Ichiro was able to find the proper area and the proper tree. Looking up, he saw his Senpai clinging to one of the many branches way up in the tree. The sight he saw was not a Meowth scared for his life because of the heights he was clinging. Instead, Ichiro saw his brave Senpai on high looking for other enemies that may be in the area.
Then came Meowth-senpai's next orders. Get him down from there? Why would Meowth-senpai want to come down from his perch? Was it time for them to go? But then why wouldn't he just come down on his own? And then it dawned on Ichiro. This was some kind of new training thing wasn't it? Meowth-senpai was testing Ichiro to see if he could come up with a way to get the Cat Pokemon out of the tree. That must be it! "Don't worry, Meowth-senpai, I'll pass this test with flying colors!" he cried out with determination, and then he set off to thinking.
The first two things that came to mind were rather simply. Go up there and physically pry Meowth-senpai off of the tree was the first. But Meowth-senpai was super strong! He wasn't sure if he would be able to do it. The second thing that came to mind was shaking the tree itself. But simply Tackling the tree didn't seem like it would do much. He wasn't sure if he was strong enough to shake the whole tree enough to make Meowth-senpai lose his grip. His third thought was to set the tree on fire and therefore force the Meowth to jump. But that could potentially burn the forest down, and that Sentret probably wouldn't appreciate that.
So then he decided a combination of his first two plans might work. He nodded and decided to give it a try. He jumped at the tree and caught onto it. He then slowly made the climb up to the top, to the branch where Meowth-senpai so desperately clung. If this didn't work, he could always go back to the first plan and try to Tackle Meowth-Senpai out of the tree while he was up there. The Cyndaquil stepped out a bit and onto the branch. "I got this, Meowth-senpai~" he said with a bright smile. Then he started...to jump. Up and down on the tree, hopefully causing the branch to shake. Slowly at first and, hopefully, more violently as he continued, violently. With any luck, it would throw the Meowth off the tree. Which wouldn't be a problem for Meowth-senpai...cats always landed on their feet!
