Okay...okay.... Breathe in...breathe out.... Y-you've got to relax, Jet. You can't think clearly if you're not relaxed.... one lonely Buizel in the middle of a seemingly-abandoned small town continued to murmur in his mind to himself. He had no idea what was going on. The only idea he had was what that monotone, mechanical voice had told him not even a single minute ago. According to that voice, he was going to be participating in a re-designed Wish Festival Tournament? But how could that be possible? The last thing he could remember before opening his eyes in the middle of an abandoned town square was sitting with Doug and Bob, getting smacked by Cassius, that Raichu friend of Doug's, and watching Haru fight a desperate match against that powerful Zangoose. He also recalled something about a Roselia, but that image was fuzzier to him than the rest of it. And the harder he tried to think about it, the more difficult it became to recall any details clearly. And now, here he was all by his lonesome self in the middle of a ghost town of some kind, with a watch-like bracelet strapped to his left wrist that simply refused to be removed no matter what he tried. No Doug, no Bob, no anyone. And he was apparently actually participating in the very tournament he had been watching before. That meant that he was a target. As he had no doubt that he was one of the weakest participants in this tournament, he would no doubt be targeted by every participant that found him. After all, who wouldn't take those easy points from a Buizel that's so small, timid and weak?
It was for that reason that Jet had started panicking. If he didn't do something, he was going to get beaten up by Pokémon much stronger than himself. He massaged the sides of his head with his paws and tried to calm himself down and ease his own fears. He had been through a lot since coming to DN2...he should be done with this whole panicking aspect of his insecurity. He took a deep breath, breathing in, holding it for a few seconds, and then breathing back out again. He repeated this process a few times before, finally, he felt his shoulders become less tense and his entire body loosened up slightly. "Okay...Jet, you can do this," he said to himself. "Y-you've been in dangerous situations before. A-and...Doug helped make me stronger...a little. I guess. M-maybe I can hold my own for a while until I find the others..." He then nodded to himself. He had a game plan, at least. Scour the nearby area, looking for any signs of a friend of his while avoiding conflict as much as possible. He didn't even really care about getting the ten points he needed to survive in the tournament...as long as he could stick with Bob and Doug, he would be fine.
Jet nodded to himself. Perfect. He had everything under control. At least...for now. He would have to maintain a low profile. He would have to make every step he took count until he could find-
Suddenly, bubbles. Bubbles everywhere. He had no idea what he was looking at for a moment, but after the stream of bubbles connected with his chest, he was thrown off of his feet and onto his back, letting out a grunt of pain. It was only then that he realized he had either been struck by a Bubble or Bubblebeam attack. He quickly scanned the nearby area, looking for the source of the attack. But whether or not he could find the source one thing stuck out in his mind: His plan to avoid battle and search for his friends had already been thrown back in his face. And so...it starts.

Once the bubbles had cleared and the Lombre could see he had scored a hit, he celebrated a bit in his head. He was hoping if he got started quickly enough, he could hunt down a few weaklings for some easy points, but he didn't imagine it was going to be THIS easy. He reared up and prepared his next attack: Nature Power. Absorbing the energy from his surroundings, he let loose a burst of fire, thunder, and ice all at once that combined into a spectacular Tri-Attack, which he fired directly at the Buizel while he was down.

Jet groaned a bit from the ground. The actual damage had been rather minimal, but the surprise aspect of the attack had taken him for a loop. However, he was able to recover quickly enough to scan his surroundings. He finally discovered the source of the Bubblebeam attack...a Lombre sitting not very far from where he was laying. But unfortunately for him, he discovered the Lombre's location much too late. The Lombre was already readying another attack...and he saw a sudden burst of electricity, fire and ice rush toward him, coming together in what was an unmistakable Tri-Attack. He quickly jumped back to his feet and tried to envelop himself in water. If there was one way he could escape this attack, it was by using his fastest move...an evasive tactic that he had virtually perfected by this point.
And so, Jet rushed forward like a bullet of water. He curved himself in a sideways arc, barreling around the Tri-Attack and trying to slam himself into the Lombre's body. It may not be the most effective move he could make, but it was an attack and an evasion technique wrapped all in one move. This was a tactic that he had found very useful in many situations, with this being just one of them. Besides, he didn't have to actually inflict a lot of damage here. If he could just get the Lombre stunned for long enough, he could possibly use the chance to flee the scene....

When the Lombre saw the dodge, he knew he hadn't managed to immobilize the target enough, so he stepped back and prepared for the incoming attack, being as still and steady as he could. Water couldn't hurt him very much anyway, so there was no reason not to go for a counterattack. This was easy points. He just needed the target to stay down.
He took a deep breath, raised a couple fists, and just before the Buizel collided with the Lombre, he yelled out "BOO," and brought both of his fists in, attempting to strike both sides of the buizels head. Not so much damaging as it was Astonishing. As he did this, he tried to hold his ground as best as possible. He was knocked back a bit, but now he needed to keep the gap closed if he wanted to take a possible advantage here.

Jet rushed toward the Lombre, finally slamming into his opponent's body. He knew that he wouldn't cause a lot of damage, but with any luck, he could use the chance to slip away. Unfortunately for him, however, the Lombre was too prepared for it. He felt the Lombre's fists collide with the sides of his face and he let out a shocked gasp. The attack was more surprising than it was damaging of course, but he still could not help but Flinch from the impact. He winced and stumbled back slightly, trying to increase the distance between himself and the Lombre as much as he could. He certainly didn't want to get caught while he was off his guard like this...but he doubted that he would be able to have much of a choice in the matter. Not when he wouldn't have the ability to counterattack.

The Lombre knew this was his chance. He drew in more power from his surroundings, forming it into a bright green Energy Ball. Now that he had the upper hand, there was nothing standing in the way of him gaining an easy point early on. He figured he was going to need it if he was going to get anywhere in this tournament.
He had taken a quick look around and he didn't see anyone else up any of the nearby streets, so the Lombre knew no-one was going to show up to steal his KO, or worse, KO himself in the process. He had hardly taken any damage from that Aqua Jet attack at all. He almost felt like he could take down a second weakling right after he finished off this one!
But first things first, he had to take down this one. The Lombre fired the Energy Ball at point-blank range.

Jet stopped his stumble just in time to see the Lombre forming a green orb in his hands. He quickly tried to bring his arms up in a last-ditch, desperate effort to block or deflect as much of the damage as possible. However, his attempt was mostly futile as he could only just raise his arms to take some of the hit before he was struck. He let out a grunt of pain as he was thrown cleanly off-balance and off of his feet. He fell hard onto his back, not very far from where the Lombre was currently standing.
He shook his head and simply lay there for the moment. He couldn't believe his own luck. Of course he would be the one to be targeted right out of the starting gate. And by a Grass-type Pokémon of all things. He knew that he couldn't win here...so maybe it would do him best to just surrender now while he was still conscious. But...then again, if he thought that way, he would run out of points before he even had a chance to find Doug. So no, surrendering was out of the question...he still had to at least try to win...!
Unfortunately for him, however, he had unintentionally taken his attention away from the Lombre to go through this thought process and reach his decision. As such, he had inadvertently given the Lombre a rather significant opening in his already-pitiful defenses.

The Lombre looked down, paying more attention to his watch than the Buizel. He wanted to see that moment when he earned his first point; his first step on his journey to triumph. It was going to be great. He just knew things were looking up for him. But he waited. And it didn't happen. He looked at the Buizel, obviously still conscious, and closed the gap quickly, raising his fists.
"You just won't go down easy, will you!"
At that moment, a yellow flash appeared behind the Lombre, and in almost the same instant, the Lombre was gone. Doug had appeared and teleported the Lombre away. Into the air.
Doug left the Lombre levitating there. High above the town, while Doug levitated himself nearby.
"So right now, I'm pretty confused. I'm not totally sure what's going on. Maybe that Buizel did something to really tick you off. Maybe you just have your own issues and like to fight random pokemon to help you get over it. But today, you picked the wrong pokemon. I don't care what you do after this, just be careful not to make such a terrible decision ever again." Doug lectured, keeping himself at a safe distance.
The Lombre flailed his head and launched a Razor Leaf directly at the Abra.
Doug, with plenty of time, teleported out of the path of the sharp blades.
"That's enough. Have a nice fall. Er... trip. See you in the fall. Or something. I'm dropping you now."
And then Doug did.
Without wasting a moment, Doug teleported down to Jet, grabbed him, and did his best to teleport them into a room he could see from the square. It had a nice big window, making it easy for him to visualize the teleport and everything. With a quick poof, he did his best to teleport them both to the safety of the room, where hopefully, nothing would bother them.
"Alright. Now that the Lombre is no longer a problem, what happened. Why did I fall asleep at the tournament, and wake up in the middle of... is this Tyric Town?"

Jet looked up at the Lombre and saw the fists being raised. This was it...he was about to get his beating right here and now, wasn't he? He flinched slightly, preparing for the inevitable pounding. However, a sudden shift in motion and color caught his attention behind the Lombre's back. And in the next instant, they were both gone, leaving him with seemingly empty air around him. But he didn't need more than that instant to take in all of the information and process it with relative swiftness. His expression then changed to one of relief, followed by a very bright and hopeful smile.
"DOUG!" Jet cried out ecstatically. There was no mistaking one of his best friends, that was for sure. And the Teleporting was just proof positive to him. Who else would swoop in out of nowhere at the last second to save his sorry, bright orange tail? At this point, it was almost like a superhero had come to his rescue. He squinted up into the air and, sure enough, he spotted the two right where he expected them to be. Doug's strategies for average battles typically consisted of Teleporting a foe into the air and doing something with them, so it was an easy conclusion to reach. He quickly jumped back to his feet, fully reinvigorated now that his friend had found him.
The exchange that Doug and the Lombre had in the air was very terse indeed. Soon enough, Doug had dropped the other Pokémon and Teleported back down to him. Jet already knew what was coming next, so he had already been holding out his arm by the time Doug had rematerialized in front of him. he felt the familiar hand grasp his arm and almost immediately, he felt his feet momentarily leave solid ground...only to land cleanly in a completely new area. Jet's first instincts took over from here and he immediately began to take everything around him in.
From their surroundings, it was easy enough to tell that they must be inside some kind of nearby building. But the most striking part of the room would be the giant window facing outward, revealing the spot that Jet recognized immediately as the spot where he had been standing less than a moment ago. He stopped himself there, however. There was probably no need to continue to follow his instincts and mentally calculate his exact location in proximity to the original location like he had quite taken to doing after each successful Teleport.
Instead, he smiled brightly at Doug. Before even bothering to answer any of Doug's questions, he lunged at him. He had just received a powerful urge to express just exactly how he was feeling. "DOUG!" he exclaimed again, not being afraid to wrap his arms around the Abra in a hug that showed all of his relief and gratefulness in one fell swoop. In fact, Doug could probably physically see his emotions just as easily as he could hear them from his eyes, which had tears of fear and joy at the corners of his eyes. If they didn't know any better, one would perhaps have thought that they had been separated for months or more from his reaction. "Y-you have no idea how glad I am to see you...! When I woke up and all by myself, I didn't know what to do! Th-then I was ambushed by that Lombre a-and I wasn't able to do anything...! If it weren't for you, I'd be an orange mess on the grass over there...!" He continued on at a rapid-fire pace, not even pausing to take a breath from his speech until he was finally finished. "Thank you SO much...!" he finally finished...not even realizing that he had yet to release Doug from his grip.

"Right," Doug managed through the Buizel death grip, "Good to know you're okay. Really, it's a load off my mind. I heard panicking in my head and I knew it was you, so I did what I could. But. Ah... if you could give me a bit of space, I'm kind of confused right now and could use it."
Doug was happy to know Jet was okay, but with everything that happened just in the last few minutes, it seemed important that Doug know what was going on. And Jet seemed to have a better idea than Doug did at least.
"So, uh, if you happen to know what's going on, and what this is," Doug said, indicating his watch, "Anything you can give me. I kind of just woke up here and about thirty seconds later I found that Lombre attacking you. So that brings us to now. Even a summary. That'd be great."
Doug knew full well that Jet knew he could give Doug a quick summary of pretty much anything, and usually Jet's thoughts would give away the rest of whatever Doug needed to know. Usually they didn't do things that way, as it was probably very awkward for Jet, but Doug could feel a sense of urgency from the situation. After getting rid of the Lombre, he figured they had plenty of time, but Doug still had no idea what was going on, so for all he knew an entire ARMY of Lombre was just around the corner. Considering it was Jet, Doug found it pretty easy to believe that was the case. Still, it was odd how abandoned Tyric Town was. Last time Doug was here it wasn't exactly a bustling metropolis, but it certainly wasn't as barren as it was now.

Jet's eyes widened slightly when he realized that he had still been clinging tightly to Doug this entire time. He quickly released him right on cue and he took a couple of steps backward, allowing himself to create some more distance between the two. Once again, he looked inside himself, trying to calm his mind down to a workable, reasonable and much more...normal level. "O-Oops..." Jet murmured lowly at first, blushing deeply in embarrassment even as he released his friend. "S-sorry about that. I...I don't really know what came over me there. E-eheheh...." With that, he let out an embarrassed chuckle for a few more moments before he could finally relax himself again and remove himself from the exceptionally awkward situation.
He listened as well as he could to Doug's questions, nodding as he heard. At first, he was confused. How could Doug not know about the re-written tournament rules? Up until now, he had assumed that it had been programmed to play upon the owner's return to consciousness. But if Doug never heard it, then it must have been played while he was still unconscious. But...how could that be?
It was then that it hit him. Doug had been extremely tired during that last day at the old tournament. What if he had fallen asleep during that last match? Would the effects of his sleep still have carried over? In which case...had they all been transported around the continent and everybody came to simultaneously? Or at least, close to it? He didn't have anything to really base that theory on, but it was worth thinking about in his mind....
In any case, he had some explaining to do. His thoughts were probably leaving Doug in the dust. He tried to gather his thoughts and simplify them into only the important details that Doug would need to know. It certainly didn't take him long.
"Well, you see..." Jet started, working how he would proceed with his explanation. "...The Creator happened is the very short version of it. We're in a re-imagining of the Wish Festival tournament. This one's much bigger. Each fighter is given a bracelet or something like it to keep track of your points." He raised his paw to show his own bracelet, revealing the number three on its face for emphasis. "You start with three. You get a point for defeating another Pokémon. You lose a point if you're knocked out. Ten points and you can move on...as long as you can find the fairgrounds again I assume." He then paused for a moment. That was all of the important summary information, condensed into about twenty seconds. He just wondered if there was anything else that he should really be adding. "...That Lombre, judging from the bracelet I saw on his arm, must be a participant who found me quickly. I'm just glad that you-"
Jet stopped mid-sentence. He had only just now taken a good, long look at Doug's watch. The digital number on its surface was definitely and undoubtedly... "...A three?" Jet murmured aloud, barely audible enough for Doug to hear it. "But that can't be. Unless you-" He stopped mid-sentence again and his eyes widened in fear.
CRASH!
Suddenly, an explosion of sound and glass erupted from not far away, from the direction of the large window. The destroyed window caused Jet to flinch and dive to the floor, trying to shield his head from the sharp pieces of flying glass. A powerful, swirling vortex of water had just smashed straight through the window of the building, aiming to slam powerfully square into Doug's chest, aimed with such a surprising amount of perfection for a move that powerful. As a user of the same move, it was easily identifiable to Jet as a Hydro Pump attack, despite him only having gotten a quick look at it as it crashed through the window.
When the glass finally settled, Jet lifted himself back up onto all fours, using his tail to brush a few pieces of glass harmlessly off of his legs. "D-doug...!?" he called, instantly caring more about the safety of his friend than the assailant, whom he figured was easy enough to figure out at this point.

Doug listened intently to Jet's explanation of what was going on. He payed close attention, but that really seemed to be all there was to it. Given the events of the last few minutes, Doug expected something a bit more... convoluted. Not that it wasn't convoluted, but it wasn't out of the ordinary either. Doug remembered stuff like this happening before. Whatever this "Creator" guy was, he sure was fickle.
Doug felt an overwhelming sense of nervousness as Jet seemed to realize something about Doug's bracelet. Before the full effect of the realization could hit him, he felt a few small cuts on his back, followed by a torrent of water that blasted him across the room and against the wall opposite the window, now nothing but an empty frame.
It had been a long time since Doug had been completely and utterly caught off guard by an attack. Usually even if he wasn't able to evade an attack, he knew it was coming and could brace for impact. But for once he had become so distracted and so certain of his safety that he hadn't paid attention.
The water subsided and Doug half slumped, half slid down the wall. He knew he had to get out of this room, but he couldn't leave Jet behind. He was having trouble getting up in his current state. He knew he'd be able to move in a few seconds, but that wasn't enough time.
"Jet! Get over here! Grab my hand, or something!" he shouted across the room, doing his best to find his legs again as quickly as possible. He was going to need them.

With the glass and sound finally having settled down, Jet scanned the room for any sign of Doug. It didn't take long before he saw the Abra, slumped on the ground on the opposite side of the room. Soon enough, the Abra called over to him and he knew that he needed to act immediately. He knew exactly what Doug was thinking at this point; the real target for this fight was undoubtedly himself. He was the weak one and he was the easy point. Furthermore, if the Lombre was smart enough, he could be taken captive just before he was finished off and used to get to Doug to defeat him as well. He wasn't sure if Doug had thought that far through his action or not, but he didn't have any time to dwell on it. They needed to be out of this room before the Lombre could mount another attack against them.
"I-I'm coming...!" Jet called out as loudly as he could. He tried to scramble forward for a moment, but he actually ended up accidently tripping over his own tail in the process, hitting the ground again. Thankfully, the glass shards didn't cut him as he fell and he was able to quickly scramble back to all fours, making a mad dash toward Doug's body.
Out of the corner of his eye, however, Jet saw an all-too-familiar green light making its way toward them at an alarming rate from outside the ruins of the window. This was unmistakably the same Energy Ball that had been used against him before. He picked up his pace, practically diving toward Doug to the point where, even if he was successful in grabbing hold of him, he would probably end up accidently hitting him with so much force that he would tackle him in their new destination. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw the green orb enter the room, aimed directly at him. Finally, his body connected with Doug's. However, the green orb was virtually upon him. Doug would need some fast reflexes if he wanted to get him out of there before he was hit.

Doug reached out his arm as the Buizel dove at him. As soon as the two made contact he Teleported, leaving the Energy Ball behind. Out the window, into the street, to the Lombre's right. He did his best to leave enough distance between them and the Lombre that they could dodge any attacks that came their way without teleporting. Trying to teleport two people through an entire battle would be exhausting and Doug couldn't afford to do it. Especially if there were others around.
When the two of them landed, Doug was still thrown back a bit by the momentum of Jet's dive. With his still-shaky legs from the Hydro Pump attack it didn't take much to knock him off of his feet. And he wouldn't be getting up anytime soon with Jet mostly on top of him. To buy them some time to get situated, Doug did his best to focus on the Lombre and lift him off of the ground using Levitate.

Did I get 'em...? the Lombre thought to himself as he looked through the window from the open area in which he was standing. He didn't seem to notice the two that had fallen to his right side immediately...but soon, he caught some motion out of the corner of his eyes and he spun around quickly, seeing the Buizel fallen on top of the Abra that had managed to get his target away from him, thus taking his easy point right out from under him. This was his chance...neither of them seemed ready for him, so he should jump at the chance to...why was there no ground beneath his feet? He looked down to see the ground getting farther and farther away. "H-hey what're you doing...!?" he exclaimed in surprise, suddenly taken aback at the height he was getting. He had never flown before...and this was not how he had imagined it would be.
Jet still wasn't entirely used to having been teleported around all that much. He had just been starting to get used to Teleporting while standing still, but as he was diving? It took him far longer to gather his bearings than it really should have. Up seemed like down and left seemed like it was to his right. His head spun and it took him a while to even realize that he had accidently tackled Doug to the ground, unintentionally pinning him slightly to the ground. "O-oh no, I-I'm sorry...!" Jet stammered when he realized what was going on. He quickly tried to scramble off of his friend. He knew that he would have a much harder fighting and Teleporting around with him involved like this.
However, the Lombre was not about to keep giving them so much time. He had quickly regained his bearings and glared back down at the Abra and Buizel. Well...maybe if this kept up, he could score two easy points instead of one tonight. He then put his hands together, with a blue orb forming between them. He then thrust his hands forward, blasting a powerful, swirling vortex of water toward both of his intended targets, aiming a Hydro Pump attack at the two, hoping to hit them before they could untangle themselves. It was difficult to brace himself without solid ground beneath his feet...but his accuracy should be good enough, with any luck.

Even with Jet still on top of him Doug did his best to charge his leg up with mental energy. He situated himself so he could swing his leg around. With the power charged it wouldn't take much, but he had to work quickly. He could tell they didn't have long before the Lombre started attacking again.
With that, he swung his leg around as best as he could and teleported directly behind the Lombre, aiming the kick at the back of his head. Doing his best to mess with his aim on his Hydro Pump attack, and also leave him disoriented.

The Lombre smirked as he finally launched his Hydro Pump attack down toward the two entangled Pokémon on the ground. This was going to be the easiest two points he had ever earned, without a doubt. The buizel had already proven that he was no threat whatsoever; he could be easily stomped and kicked aside like a rat. On top of that, the Abra was...well, an Abra. The Teleport of his may be rather stupid and annoying, but Abra were easily one of the weakest Pokémon he could think of off the top of his head. As far as he knew, they generally had virtually no stamina and pitiful defenses. He was sure to be on his last legs after taking a direct hit from his Hydro Pump before.
But just as his attack was launched, the Lombre saw the Abra disappear. Less than a moment later, he felt a sudden smash in the back of his skull, just underneath his hat-like lilypad. His eyes widened with shock as he felt the Abra's foot smash into him, which caused him to raise his arms and alter the trajectory of his attack upward.
Jet had finally just gotten free of Doug enough to allow him to pull a leg back, clearly to aim a kick after his Teleport was finished. He couldn't believe that the tournament had only just started and he was already getting in Doug's way. At least in the last tournament he didn't have to worry about that. He climbed back to his feet and shook his head. But no, now was not the time to dwell on that. He was part of everything now...he needed to at least try to do what he could to help. He took the time now to get his bearings again and figure out where he was in correlation to everything else around him. When he finally identified where the Lombre was, or at least had been, he nodded and readied himself. However, there was something more important that he had to deal with first; the swirling vortex of water that had originally been aimed toward the ground was now coming directly at him!
The water mostly missed its mark, thankfully enough for Jet. The water collided with him...but only just. The water slammed into his face, causing him to flinch and get violently thrown to the ground, landing on his back and smashing the back of his head against the ground. For a moment, his vision blurred and the colors of his environment seemed to run together. Thankfully, it was only momentary and a quick shake of his head more or less cleared his vision. He still felt slightly dizzy, however, but he was still able to get back onto his two feet again thanks to the help of a nearby building he used as support. He then looked up into the air again, seeing two vague shapes in the air...likely the Lombre and Doug, but it was hard to make out just who was who like this.
By this point, the Lombre had already turned his attention away from the grounded Buizel and glared at the Abra that had just hit him in the head. "You little punk...! I'll get you for that!" he spat at the Abra, quickly trying to turn his focus into slashing at him across the face with is claws. If he could find his mark, then he would continue with further slashes. He just hoped that his Fury Swipes attack would be enough to get him to drop whatever psychic hold he had on him and allow him to get back his sweet, sweet solid ground.

When the Lombre turned around and began swiping at the Abra, he had the benefit of being lifted into the air by Doug's Telekinesis. Doug, however, did not. He hadn't bothered to use the Telekinesis on himself, so while the Lombre was swiping, Doug was dropping. He dropped a few feet and finally hit the ground with a thud. He could feel it, but it hurt quite a bit less than that Fury Swipes attack would have.
Laying on the ground looking up at the flailing Lombre, Doug decided to use this opportunity for some Relaxation. As he took a deep breath, things seemed to slow down just enough for Doug to take it all in and get a real solid idea of what was going on, and what he could do to bring this battle to a close. He was hoping Jet was working on something, but from what Doug could tell, Jet had a few problems of his own. Still, this battle was becoming quite the annoyance. Doug figured he could easily teleport the two of them away from this guy, but now that he knew it was an official tournament match... well... Doug had told himself he couldn't afford to lose another one of those. And he didn't plan to.

The Lombre had completely failed to take into account that the Abra was not levitating with him. As his claw swiped through the air, he saw the Abra drop toward the ground. Well, as long as he took damage one way or another, he didn't care. He just wanted this fight to be over and done with. Once he had those points securely added to his score, he would be almost halfway to his goal right out of the starting gate. This was going to be all too easy! He looked down at the Abra and focused all of his attention on him. The Buizel could wait.
There was definitely one thing he should do to this Abra first and foremost. All of this Teleporting was getting on his nerves. He needed to find a way to slow this Abra down. Maybe...just maybe, he could get lucky enough to freeze him in place. If he could do that, the Abra would be as good as finished. He brought his arms around and readied his attack by gathering the forces of nature in his surroundings. Finally, it was released: his Nature Power which had morphed into a Tri-Attack move, launching a burst of fire, a surge of electricity and a blast of ice toward the grounded Abra.
Jet was finally starting to see everything for what it was quite clearly. He saw the Lombre, still hovering in the air via Doug's Telekinesis. But unfortunately, he also had to see Doug crash to the ground. He bit back a cry for him, however...he didn't want to bring any more attention to himself. But...just in case this Lombre turned out to be too strong for Doug too, he would need to be ready to jump in to help. He wasn't sure what he would be able to do, but there was one thing he knew that he was good at...and that's what he should focus on. So, he stood right where he was, watching the Lombre carefully, Analyzing his every move. He tried to pick up any habits that he had, all of his body language that could telegraph his attacks...anything that could be beneficial in a battle like this.

Doug felt the Tri-Attack coming well enough in advance and quickly teleported out of the way, this time landing above the Lombre. He then swung his leg down, attempting to kick the Lombre down toward the ground, dropping his Telekinesis simultaneously.
Meanwhile, in Doug's mind he could feel Jet's mind working on something. It had been a while since he had been able to actually hear so few thoughts in his head so clearly. He could tell Jet was sizing the Lombre up and working on a plan. So long as Doug could keep the Lombre busy, Jet was sure to come up with something. Doug was sure of it.
