Initial Wealth: ¶160
Appearance: At first, Sora seems like a normal Absol but instead of her fur being white, it is more of a light gray color. Her claws are sharper than normal of her kind, and her eyes are a darker red than average.
Personality:
»sadistic
The overriding trait of this teenager is her sadism. She was never one who fancied the idea of helping others and would merely prefer to drive them away at any cost. May it be by fighting, trickery, or anything of the sort, if Sora wants you gone, it would be in your best interest to do so.
»reclusive
Sora is a loner. She always was, and in her mind, always will be. She prefers the company of herself over any other being. Thinking of herself as superior to all, she doesn’t care to waste her times to those who she believes to be pathetic and beneath herself. Due to this, she, obviously, makes a very poor companion.
»conceited
If not apparent by her previous traits, Sora thinks a bit too highly of herself for her own good. To sum it up shortly, she thinks of herself nearly invincible. She will enter the majority of the fights she is challenged to, and will often challenge others even if they’re blatantly stronger than her. Due to this, she has a tendency to get herself in much unnecessary trouble.
»lazy
She isn’t one who enjoys going out of her way to do things. Sora would only do so if it was of utter importance, and even then, if it only applied to herself. All of the luck in the world needs to be on your side if you wish for her to go out of her way for you.
»short temper
Sora’s temper is one of the smallest known to both man- and Pokemon-kind. She is nearly always on her last nerve, and the smallest thing could push her over the edge. She’s annoyed easily and due to this, if you get her exasperated enough, it becomes significantly easier to get her to do something. It isn’t uncommon that she’s fooled into doing things this way.
»devious
When transferred through the portal and transformed into an Absol, Sora inherited the usual ability of the species: the ability to foretell disasters. It usually comes to her as a sharp pain or some other sign, though she still has yet to acquire the experience to decipher said signs. Despite this, there’s nothing to stop her from faking her ability. She enjoys to use it to her advantage as with anything else she could fool others with.
»loyal
Despite all of this, Sora truly is loyal. When she has her mind set to something, she will stick with it. It’s near impossible to change her mind out of anything. And, if in some doubtful way, you manage to get on her near nonexistent soft side, she will watch out for you.
Nature: Sadistic, Ruthless
Biography:
You could say Sora lived a fairly normal childhood. She was born in Pallet Town of Kanto, due to her parents’ hopes of her starting her journey there. Until the age of six, she, like most others in her small town, aspired to one day be a Pokemon master. It was her constant dream, having a team of friends in the form of creatures with her as she travelled the world. It seemed to Sora that it would be pure happiness.
However, one day, a simple yet life-changing experience intercepted her path of becoming a trainer. On her sixth birthday, her parents took her to see a Pokefarm in another city. The kind, elderly couple gave her a tour of the place, as well as what they did as breeders. Sora, however, spent the majority of her time there with a small Houndour. She was later told that the poor creature was an orphan, and only a month old at that. His mother was captured by a trainer only a few days before. At that moment, it was clear to her that she no longer wished to be a trainer. She wanted to be a breeder like the elderly couple.
As they walked away from the farm and back towards Pallet Town, it wasn’t long before the Kumori family noticed that they picked up a little hitchhiker. The young Houndour wasn’t far behind them. As Sora stopped and turned around, the little canine Pokemon barked eagerly and rushed over to her. The Houndour enjoyed the rest of the walk comfortably in Sora’s arms.
Many years passed since then. The Houndour grew healthily under the gentle care of Sora. He became her best, and only, friend. He was the only one who didn’t mind her more than occasional snappiness. It was when she reached the age of ten that the now adult Houndour evolved into a Houndoom. Sora was ecstatic, though at the same time slightly upset to let go the young, innocent Pokemon she had grown so close to.
It was then, at that time, that Sora realized it was time for the Houndoom to rejoin the wild. He wasn’t a housepet any longer. The separation was brief to avoid any tears. However, it took only a few weeks for disaster to strike again.
A knock on the door interrupted the Kumori family’s dinner. It was one of her parents’ friends, arriving to tell them that the Houndoom had returned; and he was in trouble. It took no longer than a second for Sora to run out the door. It wasn’t much later that she had found the commotion. There was a group of three trainers, along with a Jolteon. Facing them, was Sora’s Houndoom.
Sora never trained the Houndoom to fight. He was obviously losing, and badly at that. The middle trainer removed a Pokeball from his bag; he was going to try to catch the Houndoom. She wouldn’t have been as upset as she was, if she hadn’t seen the poor condition of the Jolteon. Sora let out a yell, running at the older males. She aimed punch after punch at them, but she was easily outnumbered. She was thrown onto the ground and suffered an attack from the Jolteon. She didn’t sustain any physical injuries. The Houndoom, however, was injured severely, then captured. At that moment, Sora lost all trust in humankind, for doing that to her closest friend, as well as Pokemon, for so eagerly listening to trainers despite how they treated them.
Years later, Sora, much changed, was walking on her usual path to get groceries for her family. On her path, there was a Houndoom, though not her own. It was thin, ribs showing clearly through its fur. Its whining was pathetic and annoying, so Sora kicked it to the side. She knew she was acting just how she loathed how others acted, though she no longer cared. She had gotten over the loss of her Houndoom years ago, yet her personality remained cold.
A voice rung out behind her, ”That wasn’t a very kind thing to do, now was it?” Sora turned around, not sure what it was she saw. It was swirling, almost like a portal. She didn’t have long to identify it, though. It was only seconds before her world went black.
