Spark was getting increasingly exhausted by the time he realized he was already at Rios Valley. He stopped. "So, where do we go from here?" He asked. This had been the first part of civilization he had been to in this dimension. It was quite an amazing view with an uncountable amount of Pidgey, Tailow, and who knows what else in the sky. But he had come here on an urgent matter, and he had to get this Swablu to her home, and fast. He couldn't waste any time sightseeing.

Since it was still in the middle of the day, there was a lot of activity going on in the Rios Valley skies. As Spark had observed, Pidgey, Tailow and other common bird Pokemon made up most of the activity. Many of the birds were flying after each other, to the point of where it almost looked like they were playing a game of tag in sky. There weren't many Swablu around in the crowd though, and most of the bigger Bird Pokemon stayed closer to the ground. Nests could be seen scattered through the rocky walls of the valley, but there were also a few small caverns here and there. The Swablu on Sparks back stopped and pointed to one as he got closer.
"My husband and I live up there..." She pointed to the entrance of a small cavern in one of the valley's walls. It was above the entrance to another cavern that was closer to the ground, which probably belonged to a different bird family. "If I was feeling better, I would just grab you and fly the both of us up there...Oh, how I miss flying!" She sadly chirped, flapping her wings a little as she talked. It was hard to believe that she would have been able to fly anyone else besides her self up to that cavern before. But he wings were made of clouds, instead of the usual feathers that Bird Pokemon had, so it was hard to estimate exactly how strong they were.
"If it wouldn't be too much trouble...you might have to climb up there." She informed Spark. "I'll hang on as best I can."

"C-climb?" Spark questioned. He would easily be able to do so if he was still human, but was it possible for a creature with no opposable thumbs to climb at all? Well, there is only one way to find out. "All right, I'll try" He said a little nervous. He took a few steps back to get a running start. He jumped, and tried to grab a rock jutting out of the side, he managed to grab ahold. It didn't seem to be as hard as he thought it would be.
Spark was able to climb up to the cavern the Swablu had pointed to, although he was horribly exahsted. He was glad he had finnally make it, but he still needed to find the berries after he gave this dose to the husband of the Swablu. "Well, we're here." It was only a few minutes, but it felt like several hours to him.

As Swablu said, she hung onto Spark as best as she could. It was difficult and shaky, but she managed to keep herself and her bag on Spark's back. Which was good, because he didn't seem like the best climber and falling off of him would probably be bad for her heath. Not that she could blame him in the first place. Pokemon didn't usually have to climb the Rios Valley walls, nevermind small Pokemon like Pichu. There was a reason Flying-types could and did decide to live here. Everyone flew to where they needed to go. That's why they could have nests and other types of homes in such odd places.
"Oh, thank you, thank you so much! Let me tidy up the place some before you go in." Swablu nearly tumbled off of Spark's back. "Honey, I'm home!" She cried, hopping inside with her bag of berries. Luckily for Spark, Pichu weren't much bigger then Swablu. It looked like he was going to be able to go in and out of the home with relative ease. "Dear...?" A man's voice could be heard deeper inside. It sounded weak and sickly, and most likely belonged to the Swablu's husband. A few minutes passed by and the only signs of life inside the home was the sound of Swablu hopping around. "Ew, dirty dirty dirty!"She scolded herself. Spark would be able to see her cleaning some of the things inside with her wings from time to time, but otherwise, he was left with no idea of what she was doing.
"...Hahh...please...come in..." Swablu's voice finally came from the home. She was sitting on a small cushion in front of what looked like a small stone table. Aside from other cushions, there wasn't much furniture in the humble living room, which was the first area Spark would see when he went inside.

"Are you sure your in the proper condition to clean like that?" Spark asked the Swablu as he was invited in. He walked through the small hole in the wall and sat down on one of the cusions surounding the table. "So, what do you do with these Berries to make the medicine?" He asked. "How long does it take?" He added as well. He hoped it was an instant-effect medicine that wouldn't take too long to make. He would need help from someone to find these berries if they where so expensive to purchase.

The berries that were in Swablu's bag earlier were now spread out on the stone table. There were five different kinds, and one of each kind. "Razz...Bluk...Nanab...Wepear...and Pinap." She had all of them. "These berries are uncommon, but very nutritious. I have to crush them all and mix them together..." She said, hopping off of the cushion and into the next room. The noise of dishes clanging together could be heard from the room she went into; A sure sign that it was the kitchen. She came back out a few seconds later with a little mortar and pestle. "This will have to do. I don't have anything more high-tech..." She said, putting the two things on the table.
The berries just barely fit into the mortar, but Swablu wasn't really in any condition to try crush anything. Cleaning what little furniture they had took most of the energy out of her. "...Could you...you know...um....crush the berries for me? Please?" She handed Spark the pestle and smiled shyly. "The berries need to be crushed until the texture is nice and fine. Easy to swallow for sore and swollen throats..." She explained. It was no wonder she asked Spark to do it. Not only did she not have the strength to attempt such a thing in her condition, but she didn't have the stamina for so much crushing.
Once the berries were crushed, she could take the mortar in to their bed room and feed him from there. After that, she'd be able to focus on what to do about getting additional berries.

Spark accepted the Pestle. "Sure, I'll work on it." He spoke as he started crushing the berries. After several minutes passed, the berries finally reached an almost powdery state. "This is good enough, right?" He asked, hoping he wouldn't seem to impatient. "So, where do we take it?" He asked.

When Spark had finished crushing the berries, Swablu immediately started to inspect it for hard chunks, or anything that would be difficult to swallow. Finding that the berries had been crushed to her satisfaction, she smiled and took up the mortar. "This is just fine Spark. You can put the pestle down." She laughed. A sickly cough came from one of the nearby rooms, as if in anticipation, but the owner of the voice didn't actually say anything. A distant look entered Swablu's eyes as she looked down at the mortar of crushed berries. 'He...can't talk much anymore...not in the state he's in. Is my sickness going to get just as bad...?' She snapped out of it when Spark asked her another question. "Oh...no, no Spark! You don't have to take it anywhere. Just let me feed him. He'd prefer that anyhow." She said, hopping off of the cushion with the mortar.
Swablu went into their bedroom, which was away from the kitchen, and any other room's entrance for that matter. The coughing got louder and didn't stop for quite sometime. At some points, the coughing turned into gagging. But finally, after about ten minutes or so of sick-sounding noises, everything died down and Swablu hopped back out of the bedroom. "He had a hard time swallowing everything, but we managed. He's asleep now, so I guess we'll have to see how long it takes for the mix to help..." She said, slowly hopping back onto the cushion. The more she had to move around, the more energy she was losing. It couldn't be helped though, not right now at least.

When he heard the Swablu say her husband had a hard time swallowing the berries, he felt a little bad. Then he decided to wait until the her husband woke up. "So, earlier you said you could find those berries uncommonly in the Aina forest. Do you know exactly where Aina forest is?" He asked, hoping he could go and try to find some more berries for the Swablu as well after her husband woke up.

When Spark mentioned the Aina Forest, Swablu had to stop and think for a minute. Those berries were definitely somewhere in the forest, she just didn't know where exactly. Between the Rios Valley, Tunican Field, and Tyric Town, she hardly had a reason to go to the Forest. That didn't mean she had no idea where it was though. ]"It's easy to get Aina Forest. Once you leave the Rios Valley, you'll be back in Tunican Field. From there, it always seems like the Aina Forest is close. If you follow the path to Tyric Town, another path nearby it will eventually appear. That path will lead to the Aina Forest." She explained. A lot of Grass and Bug-types lived in that forest. Maybe Spark would be lucky enough to meet a nice one who would help him collect berries.
]"I don't know where in the forest these berries grow...I doubt they all grow close together. Maybe a few but...I don't know." Swablu smiled sadly. Spark could end up having so much work cut out for him, and all for their sakes. "Oh! I mentioned that we have an abandoned child staying with us, didn't I? She should be coming in soon...I had sent her outside to play before I left." She added, looking over at the home's front entrance. The sickness was still contagious to birds, and she had wanted their guest to stay away as much as possible.

After he knew the Swablu's husband was okay, he would leave immediatley to Aina forest to find more berries. But with the way this pokemon was describing it, it sounded like it would be very difficult to gather every berry that's needed. Perhaps he could gather only some, and purchase the rest from Tyric town. After all, he did seem to wake up with what he assumed was a type of currency. Although he didn't know exactly how much it was.
He heard the Swablu mention the abandond child which somehow, he forgot about. "Oh, right. But if you're contageous, would it really be a good idea to let her in the same room as you?" He asked. He knew he would most likley not be able to find enough berries for two doses of the medecine.

Swablu nodded and sighed. "You're right, which is why I sent her outside to play. I don't want her to catch our sickness. " She wasn't sure what the child was supposed to do though. If the girl couldn't be in the same room as her, then she probably have to stay in the bedroom when she came. Their house wasn't very big, and the girl was staying in the living room for right now. "...Hey, I have an idea..." Swablu jumped off of the cushion and hopped over the door. There was no sign of the girl yet. "Why don't you take her with you? I bet she'd be able to help you find some berries. But more importantly, she would have less of a chance of getting sick if she went with you...instead of staying here." That last part made her sad, but it was true. Besides, Spark could probably use all the help he could get.
"...Urgh..." Swablu sighed and hobbled back over to the cushion she was sitting on. That display of energy, however small it was, exhausted her. "...Spark, I'm going to have to go lay down soon. I believe my husband will be fine, but I don't know about my time..." Her voice suddenly had a grave tone to it. 'The girl is very...noticeable. With a noticeable name to go with it...he won't be able to miss her.' Swablu picked up the mortar and pestle from earlier. "If you don't mind...I really take you should leave now...the girl's name is Aureol. You'd probably run into her on your way out of Rios Valley." She felt like she was rushing Spark, but at the same time, didn't really feel like she had a choice.

"Are you sure? Forests can be pretty dangerous. Are you sure you want me to take your daughter with me there?" He asked, but he was soon rushed out. He couldn't blame the Swablu, but he wasn't too sure about taking the girl with him. But, it would be good considering she wouldn't get effected by the illness. He remembered the last words he heard the Swablu said. He would probably run into her on his way out. Knowing this, he started walking to the exit of Rios Valley. The rush wasn't as urgent as it was before. It was still important, but it wasn't necessary to rush. The Swablu seemed to be just recently hit by this illness. So it would take a while for any of the major symptoms to kick in, hopefully.

"...Ouuccchhhh..." Once Spark was gone, Swablu dropped the mortar and pestle she was holding and flopped back down onto the cushion. Her whole body seemed to be sagging a little now. She had done everything she could to maintain a mostly healthy appearance while Spark was there. But now that he was gone, she couldn't deny the fact that the sickness was talking a much bigger toll on her then before. 'Ouch, ouch, ouch! I'm glad Aureol isn't here. A sickness like this might be worse on younger people then us older types...' She sighed and got back up. It would drive her crazy if the mortar and pestle were left out, so she picked the two items up and went into the kitchen. A full-fledged Swablu like her could never put up with a mess; it didn't matter if she was sick or not.
The activity in the Rios Valley sky was as lively as when Spark had first arrived. He hadn't been in the Swablu's home for very long, so it was possible for him to still see many of the same birds out playing. But a small group of bird Pokemon had started to drop from the sky, and fly toward something in the distance. Some of the Pokemon around Spark took notice of this and just smiled. "I bet their just going to look at that pretty girl again." A nearby Spearow jabbed at his Farfetch'd friend, who merely shrugged. "Who can blame them? She has a beautiful color. I bet she shines brightly at all hours of the day, including night time!" He said. The two birds stared at each other for a moment, hoping that one of them would break first. Instead, they both broke at the same time and took off, flying the same direction as all the other birds.

Spark was qute confused about this "Pretty girl". Could this be that Swablu's Daughter? The odds were against it, but he decided to ask about it. "Excuse me, Who is thi-" Spark started to ask, but then the two birds started flying off and probably didn't even hear him leaving Spark to speculate. The only thing he could think to do was follow the crowd and see this girl. After all, if it was the Swablu's Daughter, he would not be able to let her back to the house until he got the Berries. Spark started running toward the place everyone was gathering at.

The two bird Pokemon that Spark was following seemed to be flying as fast as they could to the location. Although they had tried to maintain cool and composed, they wanted to see the golden girl pretty badly. If Spark wasn't a nimble Pokemon, he probably wouldn't have been able to keep up. They seemed to be headed toward another one of the canyon's large rock walls. But unlike the others, this wall didn't seem to have any nests resting along it, or any small caves carved into it. Instead, there was a decent sized crowd of Flying-types gathering at the very top of the wall. The two Pokemon that Spark was running after decided to follow the crowd, and quickly swooped upwards.
Although there were quite a few Pokemon at the top, a small golden one could still be seen among them. By the way the golden Pokemon was sparkling, it was safe to assume that it was the girl the bird Pokemon had been talking about earlier. It was impossible to see what species the girl belonged to from where Sparks was standing, however. Not only that, but there was the matter of getting to the top of the rock wall that stood before him. The canyon wall seemed to be shorter then the rest of the ones in the Rios Valley. None of the residents of the valley had bothered to make a home in the canyon wall, which meant that all of it, except for the top, was completely untouched. But whether or not that would make the climb easier was debatable.

Spark was surprised to see how much more difficult it would be to climb this wall, but he was determined not to ignore the girl. If it turned out to be the Swablu's Daughter. Seeing the glistening gold pokemon, he could guess it was a shiny colored Swablu which only increased the odds of her being the daughter. Spark took several steps back and proceeded with another running start for an attempt at climbing the cliff.
After a few minutes of him stumbling around and falling a few times, Spark made it to the top of the cliff where he was still almost pushed of the side by the enormous crowd. The only thing he could think to do was try to make his way to the center of it.

As Spark pushed his way through the crowd, he saw that his prediction was true. At the center of the crowd sat a small, shiny Swablu. Although the crowd was talking to her from all sides, she didn't seem to be bothered by the attention at all. As a matter of fact, she seemed to be quite used to it. The shiny Swablu kept a small, but cheerful smile on her face as she tried to talk to and answer the many questions of the Pokemon around her. But when Spark started to approach, her cheerful expression changed to one of surprise. "Who is that?" She asked herself, staring at the electric blue Pichu. She had never seen another differently colored Pokemon before.
When the crowd saw that she was looking in a different direction, they followed her gaze and saw Spark. They weren't expecting another differently colored Pokemon to appear either. But he wasn't a Flying-type, or a shiny. Shiny Pichu were usually just darker colored versions of the species; It would be hard to point one out at first glance. Yet this Pichu was colored in a bright blue color. Shiny Pokemon were considered a true rarity, even in Dimension Number 2, but differently colored Pokemon were also uncommon. Some of the Pokemon in the crowd started to stare at Spark, but their collective magpie moment did make it easier for him to get through at least.
"Hi! I'm Aureol." The little Swablu hopped forward after noticing that Spark was coming her way. "You must be lost. Pichu don't live in the Rios Valley, silly." She laughed. Even the slightest of movements seemed to make her golden feathers sparkle, and she soon had the crowds full attention again. "If you're lost, I'm sure one of the Pokemon here could direct you out of the valley." She smiled cheerfully and some of the Pokemon in the crowd started to mumble with agreement. The Rios Valley was for Flying-types, so the sooner they could get the Pichu out of there, the better.

"No no no, I'm not lost. I came here to help bring a sick Swablu back. My name's Spark. I noticed you where a Swablu, and the Swablu I helped did say she had a daughter. This may sound a little sudden, but do you have sick parents? If so, I need you to come with me to Aina Forest, I can explain later." Spark blurted out, realizing afterward that it sounded quite rude, but this was urgent. As that Swablu said, the illness might be worse on a younger bird such as Aureol, and he couldn't risk letting her get the virus.

Due to all of the sudden outburst of information that Spark had released, all that Aureol could do for a good minute was stare at him. She had just been adopted into a Swablu family and soon after, her adopted father had become sick with an illness. Her adopted mother sent her outside to play while she went to Tyric Town for medicine. So did her mom come back already? Aureol's first impulse was to go home and see her mom. She wanted to see if she was okay. But Spark mentioned that if her parents were sick then she had to go to Aina Forest, which didn't really make any sense.
"Are you...trying to trick me!?" She asked Spark, now looking highly offended. "If my mom is home, then I need to go home too, don't you think?" She frowned now, thinking over everything that he had said. The crowd around them was getting restless too. Goodness knows if they thought Spark was giving Aureol a hard time, or trying to hurt her in any way, they weren't going to let him get away with it. "Why would I need to go to Aina Forest...?" She asked with a bit of a huff in her voice. It sounded a lot like Spark was trying to trick her into going to the Forest. Was he going to try and steal and sell her? It was possible that shiny Pokemon could be sold to willing buyers, but she had never heard of such a thing and tried to wipe the thought from her mind.
He did say that her parents were sick. That implied that they both came down with the illness. 'What will I do if both of my parents are sick?' She knew that if her parents didn't survive she was going to end up being orphaned again which, like many orphans, was her worse fear for the time being.
