Name: Tyro Ichiro
Nickname: Ichiro (everyone calls him by his last name)
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Starter: Cyndaquil (Just gotta jump at the chance while it’s still there. xD)
Initial Power: 30
Initial Wealth: ¶240
Appearance: Like an ordinary Cyndaquil, although he wears a navy blue, Mystery Dungeon-style scarf with the white letters “TG” on the front of it.
Personality: Ichiro is a quiet person. He spends most of his time with himself, doing who-knows-what. He prefers to be left alone, and hates meeting anybody he doesn’t know or haven’t heard about before. Although, if somebody were to come up to him and not leave him alone, he might end up picking a fight with the guy.
Nature: Oblivious and Friendly
Biography: Tyro Ichiro was far from your average boy. He did not grow up in some household with two happily-married parents who paid enough attention to him and knew how to properly discipline when necessary. Well, half of it wasn’t bad, though. After all, his parents were happily married, even if they were busy most hours of the day, and they did like to spend time with him whenever they were home. But he grew up under the roof of the rich CEO of the newest and one of the biggest gaming enterprises there was, Tycoon Games. That’s right, his family was loaded. They always had the best clothes, the newest games, and the coolest things around their house. However, his parents didn’t quite know how to properly discipline and Tyro was able to get away with more than he really should have. And everything was covered by his family, no matter whether or not he wanted them to pay for it or not.
He hated to have his family pay for things that he wanted. It made him feel as though he didn’t really earn it. But his parents don’t want him getting a job of his own, as it would “tarnish their image.” Therefore, he had no income. He longed for the day he would leave his family’s house for college and be able to pull his own weight. Although, with his lack of experience, he wasn’t sure if he would be able to do it. But he would definitely try. And afterwards, he planned on becoming a Pokemon Trainer, whether his parents wanted him to or not. He had seen them on television in action and decided to become one one of these days.
It had been quite a usual day for Ichiro. The usual mundane tasks of the day were taken care of, and he was bored. As usual. He had played his video games. He had eaten his breakfast, lunch and dinner that their family’s chef had prepared for him. And now, he sat outside, on the large, open meadow that their family called their “back garden.” He layed out underneath the shade of the tall oak tree that stood in the center of their garden, amid a circlular stream paved with stones, where the lillies floated along. It was a beautiful scene.
And he hated it. He spent every day of his life out here whenever he could. To him, it was better to be out here than inside, doing the mundane again for about the umpteenth time. He just wished that something decent would happen to him. Something…unique. Maybe something that would even take him away from this stupid house and let him fend for himself.
But it was at that very moment that his wishes came true.
Ichiro sat up. He could have sworn he had just heard--wait! There is was again!
“Come...come....The Creator is expecting you....” said the voice in his head.
“What was that?” he shouted, jumping to his feet. “Who’s there? Go away, whoever you are, before I call security!”
“But do you not wish for a life of self-reliance? A world where you will survive on your strength alone?” the voice asked, and Ichiro gasped. It was like this voice knew exactly what he was thinking!
“W-well, yes, but...” he muttered, unable to think of something to say.
“Then turn around and come....” the voice said, and he spun around. He gaped at what he saw. How could he have not seen that already? A few yards away, a large, swirling portal was open and beckoning him to come. “Come and enjoy a life of adventure, and your chance to prove yourself and that you have what it takes to pull your own weight....”
Ichiro didn’t wait to be asked again. He was sold. That was how great his desire was. He’d risk jumping into a mysterious, swirling vortex just to get a new life. And that was just what he did. He jumped right into the middle of it, unaware of how truthful the voice really was.
