The Pangoro stood his ground, watching Cassius charge at him much like the Zigzagoon did moments before. The Honedge kept his eye on the Raichu's fist, as if calculating the exact nature and trajectory of the move. The Pangoro seemed to nod slightly. Despite them knowing that the strong, super-effective attack could actually do a fair bit of damage to Pangoro, neither Pokemon appeared concerned in the slightest about it. However, rather than take it outright, the Pangoro waited until just before the attack were to hit, then brought up his left arm, catching the Raichu's wrist and completely neutralizing the punch's momentum.
Without skipping a beat, the behemoth of a Pokemon raised his weapon high, then brought it down on the Raichu with immense force. The counter-attack was the one move the knowledge of which the teammates shared, allowing them to truly combine their strength in one devastating, end-all blow: Slash. With all of the preparation between both Pokemon that went into this move, it was a hit that would likely have been more than enough to end the battle as soon as it started.
Bob remained unperturbed by this fact, largely because he was still out-cold.

As Cassius brought his arm forward, he could picture nothing more than a direct hit from this Focus Punch. The Burn that he suffered from was sure to halve the offensive power...but if his guess was right, then the Pangoro was a Dark-type Pokémon. Judging solely from appearance, that's exactly what he expected this hulking Pokémon to be...and that would make his Focus Punch the perfect move to finish this with.
However, his fist's momentum was easily stopped as the large Panda bear Pokémon reached up and grabbed hold of his wrist. All of his strength and all of his power was stopped right in its tracks. He couldn't believe this. Weakened though he was, and even through the suffering from the Burn...his punch shouldn't have been so easily stopped. His eyes widened in shock...as well as fear when he saw what was coming next: the Pangoro raising his opposite hand, readying to slash at him with the sword Pokémon. He suddenly started pulling frantically at his arm, trying to pull his hand free, no matter the cost. However, it was all meaningless. He could not even so much as budge the Pangoro's grip. So, he decided to work something else...he needed to electrocute the Pangoro. Maybe then he could get him to impulsively release him or something.
Before Cassius' cheek pouches could even begin to spark, however, he felt a sharp pain erupt from his body, a clear indication that the dual-Slash attack had found its mark. He let out a loud cry of pain...and was soon silent. His struggling ceased and he hung limply from the Pangoro's arm. He had finally lost consciousness, unable to continue fighting.
"I-is that...?" a soft voice murmured through the brush nearby where Bob and Cassius had collapsed and been left on the grass. A few rustling of bushes and leaves later and a furred head, orange and cream in color, poked its way through one particularly thick bush. The Buizel's eyes widened a the sight he saw. "B-bob...!" the Buizel suddenly exclaimed. He emerged from the bushes and quickly rushed to the side of the fallen, clearly beaten Zigzagoon. "Y-yeah, there's no doubting these colors...b-but what could have happened here...? I-I always thought that Bob was such a strong, smart Pokémon...." The Buizel stood over Bob for a moment, looking him over before crouching down or a closer look. There were clear signs of a burn on him...had he gotten into a fight with a Fire-type Pokémon or something? He then looked back to the bush where he had just emerged from, although he doubted that the Abra would emerge the same way he had anyway. "Doug, you won't believe who I just found!" he said...not really paying much mind to the fact that he had just said it aloud a few moments ago.
However, the Buizel's attention was quickly grabbed by another Pokémon that was laying in the grass nearby on his back. "A-and...is that...wh-who I think it is...?" he murmured rather lowly. He went over to the fallen Raichu and did a quick examination of him as well. He couldn't get a very good look at the Raichu's back without turning him over, but from what he could tell, he had suffered from a Burn as well. Did they perhaps knock each other out...? But then what about the Burns...? He found his answer quickly enough; the small, red orb laying on the grass nearby. "Is...is that a...Flame Orb...?" he murmured to himself. But how had a Flame Orb found itself here? That was an extremely rare item. Surely neither Bob nor Cassius had been carrying this with them...right?
The Buizel turned to look for his Abra companion. "Wh...what do you think we should do? We can't just...leave them here...c-can we...?"
